Product description

If you tried to register on eplus from outside Japan and got blocked at the phone verification step — your overseas number rejected, your VoIP service flagged, or the verification call never connecting — you are not alone. eplus (e+) is one of Japan's largest event ticketing platforms, used by K-pop, J-pop, Visual Kei, Johnny's, idol, and anime fans worldwide to enter lotteries, buy concert tickets, and reserve limited live events. To create an eplus account, you need a Japanese phone number that can complete voice call verification. International users without a Japanese number cannot pass this step. This service provides a dedicated real Japanese mobile number and completes the verification on your behalf.

What eplus Is and Why International Fans Use It

eplus (e+) is operated by eplus inc. and ranks among Japan's three biggest ticket play-guides (alongside Ticket PIA and Lawson Ticket). Many limited-release K-pop, J-pop, Johnny's, idol, and anime live events distribute their tickets primarily — sometimes exclusively — through eplus lottery systems (先行抽選, senkou chusen) and fan club ballots. For international fans, eplus is often the only path to:

  • Japan-only concert and live event tickets that don't appear on international resale platforms
  • Fan club exclusive lottery rounds for K-pop, J-pop, and Johnny's groups
  • Limited stage shows, theater productions, and idol meet-and-greets
  • Music festival tickets sold through Japan-domestic ticketing

Without an eplus account, these tickets are inaccessible — and creating an eplus account requires phone verification.

How eplus Phone Verification Works

eplus uses voice call verification, not standard SMS. When you enter your phone number on eplus, the system shows you a Japanese phone number on screen and gives you 120 seconds to call it from your registered number. The verification matches the incoming caller ID against the number you registered. If the caller ID does not match, or the call does not connect within the time limit, verification fails.

This mechanism is fundamentally different from the SMS-based verification used by Mercari, SNKRDUNK, and Pokémon Center Japan. SMS verification methods do not work for eplus — there is no code sent to your phone. You must make an outbound voice call, and the caller ID must match.

Why International Users Get Stuck

Four common reasons overseas users fail eplus verification:

  • 050 numbers are rejected. Japan-issued IP phone numbers (050 prefix) — including most VoIP services — are explicitly blocked by eplus. Only mobile numbers (070, 080, 090) and landline numbers work.
  • Google Voice, Skype Number, TextNow, and other virtual numbers fail. Even if registration accepts the number, the voice call step does not produce a matching caller ID at eplus's system.
  • Foreign mobile numbers usually do not work. The 120-second time window, international routing latency, and caller ID transmission issues across networks typically cause the verification to fail.
  • Rakuten Mobile-based SIMs no longer work for eplus. As of 2025, multiple users have reported that Rakuten-based SIMs are no longer accepted by eplus voice verification. Established carrier numbers (Docomo, SoftBank, KDDI au) remain reliable.

The only consistently working method is a real Japanese mobile or landline number from an established Japanese carrier, calling from inside Japan with proper caller ID transmission.

Who Needs This Service

This service is for users who:

  • Want to enter an eplus lottery for K-pop, J-pop, Johnny's, idol, Visual Kei, anime, or limited live event tickets and need to set up an account first.
  • Tried to register on eplus with an overseas number, VoIP service, or virtual number and the verification failed.
  • Need to register on eplus before a specific lottery deadline or fan club ballot window.
  • Are buying tickets through a Japan-based forwarding service (Buyee, Tenso, etc.) but still need their own verified eplus account.
  • Previously had an eplus account verified with someone else's Japanese number and lost access.

How This Service Works

  1. Place your order. Choose Standard or Express Verification. At checkout, share your eplus account email so we can coordinate timing — especially important if you are working toward a lottery deadline.
  2. Receive your instructions. You will receive step-by-step guidance for completing eplus phone verification using the dedicated Japanese number provided.
  3. Follow the instructions. Complete the verification step on your eplus account page following the guidance provided. The technical voice call requirements are handled on our end — you do not need a Japanese number, SIM card, or special equipment yourself.
  4. Verification confirmed. Your eplus account is verified and ready to enter lotteries, buy tickets, and access fan club features. The dedicated Japanese number is then retired from our service.

You never share your eplus password. The verification is completed without us accessing your account. You operate the eplus interface yourself.

Standard vs Express Verification

  Standard Verification Express Verification
Processing Standard queue Priority queue
Dedicated Japanese mobile number ✓ Yes ✓ Yes
Real, non-VoIP carrier ✓ Yes ✓ Yes
1-on-1 customer support ✓ Yes ✓ Yes
Full refund if verification fails ✓ Yes ✓ Yes

Both tiers use the same real Japanese mobile number and the same verification procedure. The difference is order queue priority. Express is strongly recommended for time-sensitive scenarios — for example, a fan club ballot deadline within 24-48 hours, an open-lottery round closing soon, or a same-day on-sale window. Standard is appropriate when you have at least several days before a deadline. Express affects our handling priority only — it does not change eplus's own systems or lottery results.

What This Service Does Not Cover

  • This service covers the eplus phone verification step only. After your account is verified, all subsequent activity — lottery entries, ticket purchases, payment, ticket delivery, lottery result outcomes, eplus's own account policies, and eplus's terms of service — is your own eplus account activity and outside the scope of this service.
  • The Japanese number used for your verification is dedicated to your order only and retired after completion. The number is not transferred to you.
  • Japanese ticketing platforms, including eplus, state in their terms of service that their services are intended for residents of Japan. This information is provided for users to make their own informed decisions.
  • Platform requirements may change. Information here reflects eplus's behaviour as of 2026.

Refund Policy

If the eplus phone verification step cannot be completed using the number we provide, a full refund is issued. Full terms: refund policy. Based on the verification outcomes handled to date, refunds have not been necessary — but the guarantee stands.

Other Japanese Platform Verifications

Many eplus users also need verification on other Japanese platforms for fan-related activities:

Each Japanese number is allocated to a single account on a single platform — please order separately for each platform you need to verify.
